In the cloisters of the old Benedictine monastery of San Vitale, next to the basilica: Roman and Byzantine finds, ivories, ceramics, weapons and the 14th-century frescoes of Santa Chiara. It belongs to the National Museums of Ravenna together with the Mausoleum of Theodoric and Sant'Apollinare in Classe.

In the zone of silence, next to Dante's Tomb: the museum tells the story of the poet, his exile and his death in Ravenna, and the devotion to his remains over the centuries. Nearby are the Casa Dante and the Quadrarco di Braccioforte.

Ravenna's historic library, in the old Camaldolese abbey of Classe in the city centre: the 18th-century Aula Magna, manuscripts, incunabula and Dante collections. It hosts exhibitions of documents and prints on the history of the city.

An open-air photography exhibition: thirty-five giant prints by Giampiero Corelli on the walls of the village reinterpret Dante, Byron, Pascoli and Olindo Guerrini with the faces of the people who live in Sant'Alberto today, in the Po Delta park.

The fortress built by the Venetians in the mid fifteenth century is now a public park inside the walls. The citadel houses the open-air arena for summer cinema and concerts, reopened in 2026 after the works.
