In the Parco della Resistenza of San Lazzaro di Savena, just outside Bologna: more than thirty life-size dinosaurs and prehistoric animals along a green trail, from T-rex and Spinosaurus to the dinosaurs found in Italy. Next to it is the Luigi Donini Museum of Prehistory.

On the hill along the expressway to San Marino: almost 80,000 square metres in the open air with more than forty aircraft and helicopters to see up close, plus engines and armaments. It is the largest park of its kind in Italy. Dogs are welcome.
