Before you call

  • From a foreign phone

For the long numbers (landlines and mobiles) add +39 in front. Short numbers such as 112, 1530 or 1518 are dialled as they are.

  • Where you are

The first thing 112 asks is where you are: town, street, number or a landmark. On the motorway read the kilometre sign and the direction.

  • At the beach

On guarded beaches call the lifeguard nearest to you first. For danger in the water or a boat in trouble there is the coast guard, 1530.

  • The numbers of your town

For every town of Romagna the page of the town lists the nearest emergency room, the out-of-hours doctor, the town hall and the area code.
