How the site was born

How Romagna Tourism was born

Romagna Tourism was born on 1 October 2026 from an idea of Alessandro Bacchini, an entrepreneur from Faenza working in tourism and transport: to put in one place what a visitor today looks for on dozens of different sites. What is on today, how do I get there, what traffic will I find, what must I not miss.

On its first day the site already had the events calendar, the flight boards, the traffic and 11 languages, chosen by looking at where the foreign guests of Romagna come from. The logo tells the territory: the three arches of the Bridge of Tiberius in Rimini, the sun and the water.

In the following three weeks the other sections arrived, one or two a day: castles, museums, monuments, farm stays, beaches, live trains, cycle routes, long walks, history, famous people, dialects, legends. On 16 October the site went online and Google started showing it.

It is an independent editorial project of Passione Turismo di Bacchini Alessandro: it informs and does not sell. The photos of the places are real, from Wikimedia Commons with author and licence, and the site uses no cookies and no scripts that follow the reader.
