Privacy

This site uses no cookies, does not profile you and loads no third-party tracking tools. Here is what we process and why.

Who processes the data

The data controller is Passione Turismo di Bacchini Alessandro (passioneturismo.it, P.IVA 02199550399), publisher of romagnatourism.it.

What we record when you visit

We count how many times a day each page is opened and how many times an outbound link is pressed. These are overall numbers: we do not store your IP address, your browser or any identifier about you.

Like every site, the hosting server keeps technical access logs (IP address, date, page requested) for a limited time, for security reasons.

The traffic map

The Traffic page shows an OpenStreetMap map: when you open it, your browser downloads the map images from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address as any site you visit does.

The form for businesses

If you fill in the form on the For businesses page, we use the business name, the email and the other information you write only to answer you about advertising on the site. We keep them as long as needed for this purpose and delete them when you ask.

The area for businesses and payments

If your business uses the paid spaces, we keep the listing you write (text, photo, website), the billing details you give us and the movements of your credit, to provide the service and for tax obligations. The area opens only from your personal link.

Top-ups are paid by card on the Stripe page, which processes the payment data under its own rules: we never see or store your card number.

The newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter we keep your email address, your language and the date of your consent, and use them only to send you our emails. You can unsubscribe whenever you like from the link at the bottom of every email: from then on we stop writing to you.

The postcards

If you send a postcard we keep the photos chosen, the message, your name and email, and the recipient's name and email. The recipient's email is used only to send them the link of the postcard once: we do not sign it up for anything. Your email is set as the reply address. The postcard and its data are kept for one year, then deleted.

Whoever ticks the Friends of Romagna box, or signs up from the postcard page, joins the same list as the newsletter, with their consent and its date: what is written for the newsletter applies.

Links to other sites

The official event sites, ticket offices, Flightradar24 and Romagna Transfer are third-party sites with their own privacy rules: when you open them you leave romagnatourism.it.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to know what data we hold about you, to correct or delete them, and you can contact the data protection authority.
