Mausoleum of Galla Placidia
The most famous starry sky in mosaic in Ravenna.
Outside it is a small cross-shaped brick building; inside, the vault is a midnight blue sky covered with golden stars. It dates from the first half of the fifth century and holds the oldest mosaics in the city.
The space is small and in the busiest periods entry is timed and must be booked with the ticket: check the official site before you go.
