Cycle routes of Romagna

In Romagna the bike is at home: along the sea everything is flat, the river banks lead from town to the coast and the hills are a training ground for climbers. Here are 11 routes, each with its official page.

The lines come from OpenStreetMap; some routes are not drawn yet and are only in the list. Before you set off, download the track from the official website.

    • Bike trekking or city bike

The Romagna stretch of the great route that runs along the whole Adriatic, from Trieste to Santa Maria di Leuca: seafronts, pine forests and canal ports, almost all flat. In Rimini it runs along the new Parco del Mare.

  • Download the track

The official pages almost always have the GPX track: load it on your phone or bike computer.

  • Water and heat

In summer there is no shade on the river banks and in the lagoons: set off early, bring water and sun cream.

  • Mosquitoes

Near the lagoons and pine forests, at sunset, insect repellent is a good friend.

  • No bike?

On the rentals page you find who rents bikes, e-bikes and road bikes, town by town.
